Caribbean & South America Projects

Haiti: Overview

The earthquake of 2010 followed by the Cholera outbreak has stretched the fibers of the CHE communities. Because CHE communities have a structure of helping one another, they were able to respond to the challenges by helping support medical clinics, distributing much needed equipment, donating supplies and providing labor for repairs and reconstruction.

Current goals include the continuation of clean well water, water safety education, and continuing to rebuild communities through CHE principles.

Dominican Republic: Overview

Dominican Republic CHE communities helped their neighbours in Haiti with supplies, food and water.

CHE communities are continuing to grow in the Dominican Republic, where the program helps to establish a new mindset that dignified the poor and helps them realize their full potential.

CHE initiatives have started in Bolivia, Peru, Brazil and Argentina as well.
